Responding to the theme of this year’s European Heritage Days, “Sustainable Heritage”, we are organizing events that aim to draw attention to the adaptation of cultural heritage to new functions, strengthening community ties, and the ability to unite various groups. We aim to make heritage a means of getting to know the city more.
The workshops will explore the interrelationships between people, architecture, urban planning, social and urban culture. Attention will also be paid to the heritage of modernist architecture in Kaunas. During the workshop, knowledge will be gained about the city, its creation and planning, the main elements of the modern city, the importance of heritage in it.
We invite two groups to participate:

September 16th – the first group (schoolchildren aged 11-14). Duration 2 hours.

September 17th – the second group (schoolchildren aged 15-17). Duration 4 hours.

Each group can have up to 20 participants. The event will be held in English.
